Dream Number

Dream Number was a UK Lotto game unlike any other, for several reasons. The first was that you couldn't play it as a separate game – in order to participate in Dream Number you had to also play the main UK Lotto game. Another reason why Dream Number was unique is because the order in which numbers were drawn is just as important as which numbers were drawn. If that last point sounds confusing then read on and all will become crystal clear. The Dream Number game begun in 2006 as a secondary draw alongside the main Lotto draw twice weekly. In February 2011 the Dream Number was replaced by the Lotto Plus 5 draw. You can find instructions on how to play the Lotto Plus 5 draw by clicking here.

The details below are for information purposes only as the game Dream Number is no longer available.

You don’t need to select any numbers to play Dream Number, and that’s because they will be randomly generated for you when you choose to play. The Dream Number consists of seven single digit numbers in the range 0 to 9. As you would expect from a game that can only be played by those participating in the UK Lotto game, the Dream Number draw is held every Wednesday and Saturday.

Winning a prize in Dream Number requires you to correctly match one or more digits in the order they are drawn, from left to right. The more digits you match in order, the more you win.

For example, if your Dream Number is 0470391 and the first number drawn is 0 then you have matched one number in order and you have already won the lowest prize. If the second number drawn is 4 then you win an even bigger prize, and so on, right up to the jackpot of £500,000 for getting all seven digits in order.

Because the Dream Number has seven digits, there are seven prize levels. Details of these, and the odds of winning each, are shown below:
